Laura Austin performs Saturday night at the Redhouse in Syracuse, where she also is artistic director.Mark Doyle sent me a nice note just now reminding me that the band he's put together to back up Laura Austin and Scott Allyn on Saturday night for the "BitterSweetHeart" show at the Redhouse is top-notch in all respects.
Doyle will handle guitar, keyboard and vocals as well as leading the band that will add to Austin's vocals and her husband Allyn's acoustic guitar and backing vocals. John Goodwin will be on keyboard; Peg Newell will be on guitar and vocals; Michael P. Ryan will be on bass; and Cathy LaManna will be on drums.
